LED Hood Light Strip Installation Guide

Before you start

• Confirm your hood light strip type on the product page, especially power, control method, length, and lighting effect.
• Park safely, turn the vehicle off, and avoid hot engine parts.
• Clean the front hood edge or grille mounting area and dry-fit the strip before removing adhesive backing.
• If your installation connects to vehicle power, use a qualified installer if you are not comfortable with automotive wiring.

Installation steps

1. Hold the strip across the planned hood or grille line and confirm the light faces outward evenly.
2. Check that the wire path stays away from heat, moving parts, sharp metal, and water collection points.
3. Mount the strip gradually from one side to the other, keeping light spacing and alignment even.
4. Connect power according to the product page and included wiring parts. Do not force a connection that does not match your vehicle.
5. Test startup, brightness, color, or animation before final cable cleanup.

Common mistakes

• Skipping a dry-fit and ending with an uneven front line.
• Routing wires near hot or moving engine components.
