These car door warning light strips use a wired vehicle power connection. Plan the door-edge route first, test the lights before mounting, and connect them to the door courtesy / welcome light circuit so they work with normal door-open behavior.

Before Installation

Test both strips before mounting to confirm the red and white lighting works normally.
Clean and dry the door-edge mounting area so the adhesive can hold properly.
Dry-fit the strip along the door before removing the adhesive liner.
Confirm the strip will not block the door seal, hinge movement, latch area, or window mechanism.

Wiring Guide

Red wire: Connect to the positive wire of the vehicle door courtesy / welcome light circuit.
Black wire: Connect to the negative / ground wire of the same door light circuit.
Test before closing panels: Open and close the door to confirm the strip turns on and off with the door-light circuit.
Route safely: Keep wiring away from moving hinges, sharp metal edges, hot areas, and pinch points inside the door trim.
