Create a bright angel wing welcome effect when your car door opens at night with wireless adhesive puddle lights. No wiring or drilling required.
Before you start
- Confirm which door projector version you have: universal wireless, vehicle-specific, custom artwork, or angel wing style.
- Charge or prepare the light according to the product page and the accessories included in your package.
- Clean the mounting area on the lower door panel and let it dry fully.
- Test the projection direction in a darker area before sticking the light permanently.
Installation steps
- Choose a flat spot on the lower inside door panel where the light can project onto the ground when the door opens.
- Dry-fit the projector and check that it does not touch trim, weather stripping, wiring, drain holes, or the door sill.
- If your kit uses adhesive, press firmly on a clean, dry surface. If your kit includes a sensor or magnetic trigger, position it according to the included parts and test before final mounting.
- Open and close the door several times to confirm the light turns on and off as expected.
- Check the projected logo or pattern from outside the vehicle and adjust placement if the image is tilted or cut off.
Common mistakes
- Mounting before testing the projection angle.
- Sticking the light to dusty, textured, wet, or oily trim.
- Placing the light where shoes, door seals, or road moisture can hit it easily.
